Promising Minds Evaluation

The Hawai’i Community Foundation’s (HCF’s) Promising Minds initiative takes a whole systems approach to supporting the wellbeing of Hawaii’s young children and their families. By focusing on behavioral health, the initiative aims to equip early childhood educators, practitioners, and service providers with trauma-informed strategies, tools, and support to help Hawaii’s vulnerable children develop healthy and on track.

Throughout this effort, Engage R+D has served as the evaluation and learning partner to Promising Minds, working to document, measure, and reflect on this work. This page shares evaluation reports from the five years of the Promising Minds initiative, from assessing early capacities to focusing on strengthening the systems and policies that provide an ecosystem of support.
